High street sizing is often unrealistic and disappointing. Fit is subjective and clothing should be worn in the way that is most comfortable to you. I offer easy fitting sizes as follows:
Heksie can be worn oversized or more fitted, depending on what your look is.
As a secondary check, please take your measurements and compare them to the garment measures found in the item description in order to determine which will be the right fit for you.
Trousers are made custom to the length that you require. Please specify length at checkout.
If you are confused about how to take your measurements or if you are unsure if something is going to suit your body shape, please get in touch! I’d be happy to advise you.
Natural fibres are prone to fading and wear. This is especially true of linen, which becomes even more beautiful after a few washes as it softens and the colour mellows.
To prolong the life of your linen garment I recommend the following:
Machine wash on a delicate cycle at no more than 30 degrees, or gently hand wash in lukewarm water.
Do not rub or wring - your linen will wear out more quickly if you do.
Reshape whilst wet to prevent the need for excessive ironing.
Tumble drying is bad for clothing, as well as for the environment. Line dry, or if you must tumble dry, do so on the cool setting.
